Y Care International works in partnership with young people worldwide through the YMCA movement to help them enrich their lives and to build a more just world, free from poverty.

As the YMCA’s international relief and development agency, Y Care work in partnership with YMCAs that are already playing key roles in their communities. They aim to strengthen them to be better able to respond to the needs of the most disadvantaged young people.

Y Care International works in partnership with YMCAs to support projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East that empower young people and their communities to find alternatives to a future of poverty and disadvantage. Y Care also work through local YMCAs and other partners to respond to emergencies and natural disasters. In the UK and Ireland, Y Care works with young people in the YMCA movement to raise awareness of and interest in international issues
