Contribute

The Hear By Right shared learning website aims to be a constantly evolving and growing resource. We welcome all contributions to this site, which can be sent to hearbyright@practicalparticipation.co.uk

Contributions can take a number of forms:

  • Local Network Map Entries
The local network map provides a way of linking up organisations using Hear By Right with other organisations nearby who can offer ideas, support and resources to each other.

To be included on the local network map, whether as a current user of Hear By Right, or an organisation with something to offer to other local Hear By Right users, e-mail your answers to these questions to hearbyright@practicalparticipation.co.uk headed 'New Entry for Hear By Right Local Network Map.

  • Stories
We want to hear about the process you’ve gone through in using Hear By Right - and the impact that organisational change has had on your organisation and the young people you come into contact with.

To contribute a case study, you can either get in touch with hearbyright@practicalparticipation.co.uk and a member of the Hear by Right website team will contact you to listen to your story and develop a case study - or you can download and complete the Case Study Template (Word Document) to tell us about your experiences.

  • Completed / In-progress tools and evidence
If you have a copy of your mapping and planning, or impact of organisational change template in a digital format, then please do e-mail it to hearbyright@practicalparticipation.co.uk for inclusion on this site.

If we already have copies of your template, then do make sure you send us any major updates, so we can continue to develop and highlight the shared learning from your experiences.

Also, if you think you have any evidence to share that others will be inspired by, or can learn from, whether it’s a local briefing written on participation, posters from an event you’ve run, agendas from a conference, photo’s from an event, a report from a consultation, or any other documents and files related to implementing Hear By Right, then please do arrange to send us a copy. E-mail hearbyright@practicalparticipation.co.uk with details of the evidence you have, and we’ll arrange to include it on the Hear By Right shared learning website.

Evidence of meeting 4.3 and 4.4 (Systems) can include sending your map and plan for inclusion on Hear by Right web pages for wider sharing and learning.

  • What's Changed for children and young people

This tool records the most important evidence of change, which is that from the children and young people themselves. It is essential that they tell their story in their words of evidence of dialogue and evidence of change. See the 'What's Changed' pages for details of how to share your stories, and to access over 85 examples from other organisations.

  • What's Changing in your organisation
Whilst change for children and young people may not have occurred yet within you organisation, considerable organisational change may well have. We want to share and celebrate this online.

Please complete the What's changing in your organisation tool that is available to download at the bottom of this page and send you're completed entry to hearbyright@practicalparticipation.co.uk for inclusion on this site.

  • Shared Learning
You don’t have to submit a completed template to be included in the shared learning section of the website. If you’ve got any inspirations, information or learning to share, that relates to a specific standard, just e-mail hearbyright@practicalparticipation.co.uk
  • Resources
If you have developed any participation and active involvement related resources (briefings, activity plans, multimedia presentations etc.) which others could benefit from we invite you to share them through the resources section of this website. Just e-mail hearbyright@practicalparticipation.co.uk with details of the resources you would like to share.

Please do get in touch to share your experiences.
